Congratulations to His Grace Mar Meelis. Indeed, congratulations to the ACOE for such wise decision to promote Mar Meelis to the rank of Metropolitan.
This news was so great that I decided to step out of my cocoon (only my hands extended enough to reach the keyboard), which these days is my art studio, for few minutes and write these few lines, lest people think I am in some type of Federal Witness Protection Program!
Do we know whether His Grace’s jurisdiction as a Metropolitan would extend beyond his current diocese?
Now that His Grace is a Metropolitan, this humor writer has a question to ask him, which hopefully His Grace can answer in his speech after his consecration: “Are you going to grow beard?”
