Today, U.N. Envoy, Staffan de Mistura condemned anti-Christian killings:

U.N. special representative Staffan de Mistura "expressed his shock and outrage at the continued targeting and killing of religious minorities" in a statement...He called on Iraqi authorities at the national and local level to protect Christians and other minorities in Iraq and to ensure those behind the attacks "are swiftly brought to justice." http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/feedarticle/8025447

But what good those public statements do after the fact? U.N. was quick to announce that security is under control and that announcement caused some of the refugees’ return, only to be targeted again!
